Stopped by the local ace as i do a few times a week. Saw that the 7" vise grips were on sale. I grabbed all the old stock USA made ones. Good chance your ace may have a few old stock US as well.

Found two 7Rs at mine this morning, still looking for a 7WR.

The two I found were Irwin but stamped made in the USA on the package and the handle. Found one other one marked USA on the package, but not on the pliers anywhere so I left it.

a few years before they made the change to bad the pliers weren't welded at the adjustment bolt. if they are open (not welded) down by the bolt don't bother buying them, USA or not, they are no good with out it being welded.
Ace is place, I'm just not sure where the closest one is.
