Looks like their 50% off (max value $15) coupon from the last couple years is now exclusive to their membership program, and via email only. It's probably a single-use coupon now. Puts a dent in my plans, but it sure was nice hitting up a few local stores separately for some good deals.

Edit: oh, Ace has rebranded GearWrench ratcheting wrenches now?

Yeah - they are $40 right now - so $10 looks like a good deal.

Ace has had 'Ace Professional' branded Gearwrench wrenches for years.

This sale is better than any in the past. Those have been 4 wrenches for $10 and 5 for $15. This is 6 wrenches for $10, which is a quite good deal.

Yea, I noticed that too. I saved a good amount of money the past few years using that coupon.

There's a cure for that . . . . setup Email/membership for all your kids !! Bring them along to store and hand kids $50 to buy you some tools with coupon !!! ;)

When I was kid, the whole family would go to KMart when Pennzoil was on sale and every kid bought 6 quarts of oil !! . . . We had 7 kids in family !! :D

Gearwrench gets generally favorable reviews. As to warranty, "some" Sears and Fastenal locations will warranty if they have loose spares but have been known to push back or give people a hard time. Worst case, APEX will warranty them with no problems if you call.

If you need Gearwrench and concerned about warranty, then buy them at Ace. Ace will replace their co-branded Gearwrenchs without hassle. (not as easy with non Ace Gearwrenches)

Just a heads up. Ace changed their coupon this year to now allow $15 dollars off an item over $30. Last few years it has only been 50% off an item $30 or less. You can see the coupon on their site. It looks like they may have put it back on their ad instead of it coming through an email (I hope).:rocker:

Time to hit home depot for some price matching. Gonna snag the 2 packs of milwaukee tapes and the holiday sawzall blade packages for 50% an already decent deal!
