Hi Everyone,

Ace Hardware has a few good deals on their clearance section right now:

I've been hemming and hawing about these **** connectors and ring terminals for months now and have watched the price repeatedly drop. Down to 49 cents for a pack of 3, originally $6.50. I ordered 30 packs today.

Thanks for the post, lots of interesting stuff in their clearance area. The Ancor stuff is always expensive since it is "marine".

Ancor is not normal stuff, its excellent quality and typically very expensive. Too bad they don't offer more items or local pickup

So the two socket sets have a photo that shows the "Made in USA" version, but these haven't been made in USA for a decade, so I am skeptical. I have an inquiry into the warehouse to have someone check the actual stock to see COO. I'll report back if I get an answer.

Their site says that clearance items are final sale, so I didn't want to just take a chance on ordering some and see what shows up.

They're not made in USA. Those are the stock photos SEARs used since they sold Craftsman name to Stanley. Some haven't been updated since 2014. Most likely Made in China.

If you can go to your local ACE and spec out the sets, you may find one Made in USA. But its been slim since 2018.

really.. Ace is like granger or like apple store...all the time msrp prices.....lol... I don't even bother, only thing I get from ACE is B&B charcoal, because only place I can find them at.

Couldn't see where it's made, but grabbed two for by kids stocking stuffers. I hope it's USA made, but given they didnt show where it's made, probably it's not.

Klien is made in USA, and the packaging for the Ace is Made in Taiwan. So not the same item.

I have not opened the two Ace ones yet, as they're for my kids stocking stuffers.

Yeah, it's not a high end measuring tape, but it's for a four year olds tool set.

Okay, so now I'm not sure about the Klien.

It has molded into the handle "made in usa", but then it says

picture uploader

So I think I'll have to open up the packs i got and check more. The kids won't mind if they're opened ... right? Santa doesn't package presents ...
