Was checking out ace this morning for a few things and stumbled across this.

Suppose to be a wood pellet BBQ for $499 and $100 off. It is marked as $4.99 with $100 off, put in cart and its free.

Placed my order with the couple other items i needed and it was accepted. We will see if they choose to honor the price or not, worth a shot.

It looks like they fixed the price; it's now $499.99. But hey, they gave you free shipping on your canceled order. I also noted that the grill/smoker is only available for local pickup at a store.

Would it be morally right to take home a $500 item for $5 when you know it was a mistake? Im not passing judgement on you OP, just wondering out loud what the general consensus is on this.

not sure, but as I remember a lot of the guys got on the 2 ton craftsman floor jack that was priced wrong at 5.00. I remember some people getting several of them. What is the difference?
Morally wrong should be morally wrong no matter what the company is.

My personal consensus is it's taking money out of someone else's pocket because of a mistake. Most of us would prefer not to be treated this way.

There are always people who will line up to take advantage of something they think gets them ahead. I'm just not one of them.

I'd be surprised if they actually shipped it for $5. They have fine print to cover their butts. Heck, I've bought $12 stuff on clearance for like $2 on some of these websites, and they cancelled the order(s).
