I cannot find any info on the manufacturer or place of manufacture of this “Ace made in USA” slip joint pliers. A search on Alloy Artifacts comes up empty. Any ideas?

Thanks, I would agree with the similarities to the Skil-Kraft. But who makes Skil-Kraft?

Like Ace, Skil-Kraft was a brand, not an OEM. I agree with Mintgrun on the OEM. I don't collect Harrold pliers, but I have seen hundreds of them. If you search the mega 'Pliers' thread (use the A-Z Index in the Sticky at the top of the page) on "Harrold" you'll find some to compare to.

Thanks, Don. But you ruined my Sticky "training." :) Just kidding. (Well, half-kidding.)

Welcome (again!) to GJ, Cliff. We get a lot of fly-bys here (lazy tool flippers looking for easy answers), so it was very nice to see your introduction up on the General board. (I answered your question about your PH screwdriver up there, btw.) This is the place for you down here with the vintage nuts.
