Looking at an Ace Super Set of taps/dies on CL. Looks to be from the 60's/70's. Perhaps made by Greenfield? Anyone familiar with that brand? Thanks.

I have my eye on a set on CL but the guy wants an arm & leg plus my car and my first born child, oh and maybe Ohio state tickets.

I don't think it was Greenfield but rather made by Hanson for the old super set.

Funny thing but several weeks ago my wife wanted to go on a small road trip and about 60 miles away I walked into an old store and spied two nos ace taps with three inches of dust and a price tag to boot for $2.89 each.

Today it comes from China and maybe next year from India or somewhere else...I guess it is the new Global economy.

I have a Ace super set, that belonged to my dad. They were made by Hanson, and are great pieces, that I still use to this day.
