acetone dying garage floor

About 8 years ago I used an Acetone based dye to do my basement floor and loved the look. I am now thinking about doing the same to the new floor in my detached garage. Looking for some advice on this.
The floor was poured in early November and has always been under roof.
Has seen only light foot traffic. The surface had a hand troweled finish instead of the power trowel finish of most floors.
What prep will I need to do before using the Acetone Dye? On the Basement floor I think I just did a light muratic acid wash.
What would be the best top coat sealer to use to help protect the floor a Urethane or Epoxy? I have heard good things about Sherwin Williams Rexthane Sealer.
The garage will be used for storage and working on a street rod project.
Looking for help from all.

Thanks,

An acid wash is great prep for an acetone dye. You can seal it with a coat of epoxy primer followed by a coat or two of polyurethane. This will provide great abrasion and chemical resistance to protect your floor as well as make the color of the dye pop.

Polyurethane's generally do not adhere and penetrate as well as epoxy does to concrete. Laying down epoxy first will Promote adhesion of the coating system to concrete and Promote adhesion of the polyurethane to the epoxy.
