So I'm currently in the middle of a rebuid of a '69 Triumph motorcycle which means I scour the net constantly for related vids/sites.

One day I was down this YouTube rabbit hole looking up vapor blasting and found one where these 2 Canadian guys at a snowmobile convention (so it looked like) mentioned ACF-50 and how it's popular with snowmobilers and vintage british bike community.

Doing some quick searching I found it here: http://learchem.com/products/acf-50.html

I've read that it's popular in the aviation community as well. Has anyone had any experience with this stuff? I've searched the forum, but no results.

I was introduced to it when I was going to school for my A&P.

I use it mostly for a lock lubricant.

Repels water, inhibits corrosion, it does creep though, it also tends to break deposits of grit or dirt loose.

I've seen it, and a competing product (Corrosion X) applied to many aircraft, "clean and dry" is best as it will bleed out of anywhere you put it (it's for use in internal spaces) and sill carry with it whatever isn't firmly attached (ie dirt, dust, rust flakes and particles, ...).
