How long do I have to wait to apply Armorseal 1000 HS after acid eitching new concrete

I applyed let dry pressure washed and let dry now 8 hours going to try and wait 24 before epoxy goes on
is this enough time>?

I would say to let it dry at least 48 hours before applying the coating, depending on the temperatures. The warmer/less humid it is the quicker the concrete should dry.

You should also neutralize the acid after it's played out.

You can use diluted ammonia 1:4 with water or baking soda to neutralize the acid. I agree with Hammerdown on 48 hours. New concrete should cure 30 days before you apply a coating.

Good info. I was just going to wash the acid off the slab and that's it. Hoping to do my garage soon... once I get off these 7 day a week 12-14hr a day shifts.

For one there's the possibility that some of the acid, which still has some bite, migrates down below the surface, then when the rains come hydrostatic pressure may force it back up, it then can weaken the epoxy/concrete bond leading to possible delamination/failure.

Read and follow those package directions and warnings./

I agree wait at least 48 hours depending on weather. If you are in a time pinch you could always blast the concrete with a roofing torch. Just be careful not to leave in one spot too long (15s) moisture will boil & cause concrete to literally pop off the surface leaving spalls behind & burning you with hot concrete chunks.
Just warm it to the touch by making several gradual warmer & warmer passes.

How did it go with Armorseal 1000 HS? Do you have any pics also? I was looking to use this same stuff this week. I'm going to Sherwin Williams at lunch to get some prices.
