Acid etch issues

I know this has been talked about before but i bought the epoxy-coat product. I cleaned the garage concrete and acid etched. After that dried I noticed a white film on the concrete that was like chaulk/dust. I rinsed the concrete and cleaned it numerous times and still the chaulk. I went ahead and pressure washed the concrete and I still cant get the chaulk/ dust to go away..... any suggestions as I'm getting ready to pull my hair out.

I forgot to add.... i tried to shopvac the dust up and no luck. I wipe my hand across the cement and its all dusty

Muriatic acid "profiles" the concrete by attacking the calcium in the concrete, but it doesn't vaporize it, rather it loosens and releases it, and the knocked out calcium stays in suspension in the acid mix. If the mix dries then the calcium is deposited back onto the concrete, and it sticks.

If that's happened you definitely need to get it removed, that may require another acid etch. And don't let it dry before rinsing it off.

It will blast off with minimum power washer pressure of 3000 psi if you hold the nozzle close.

Be careful driving water into the slab. You will have to give it a while to dry before applying solvent based epoxy. gene ec-Indy

If the solution dried on the concrete you will have to etch again. You should not have any chalky residue on the concrete. Call me if you need more help on this.
