So I acid etched part of my shed floor tonight with plans to do Epoxy Coat tomorrow evening. I thought the muratic acid would bubble longer but it only bubbled for a a little bit, less than 10 seconds, probably closer to 5 seconds. Is that normal?
Slab was poured in November with a float finish and never really had more than dirt and sawdust on it (no grease or chemicals). It seems like it has a good finish after the etching so I think I'm good to go, just thought it would bubble more.
Gotta finish up my spike shoes tomorrow and hope they work(roofing nails down through sole of old sneakers though plywood cut in the shape of my shoe)
thanks
Bruce
