Hello,

I have a 28x32 with unfinished concrete floors. They are pretty ruff right now and i'm not interested in a showroom fancy floor. I don't want to have to grind or do much fancy prep work other than a good cleaning. Is acid staining an option? Or is it something that would need grinding first?

something like this only less smooth and glossy would be great. I know its not going to be this smooth without grinding but i'm totally ok with that.

You can achieve a nice result. Naturally, your outcome depends on the condition of the floor you have now and your willingness to prep it. My base suggestion would be an acid stain treatment followed up with (2) coats of acrylic sealer.

We have these products for your review and can talk to you if you want to explore this further, no obligation.

Do you have direct sunlight hitting the floor? The other option instead of an acid stain, (hoping it will break the surface and react) is a deep penitrating dye stain. gene
