I went with an acid stain for my garage floor. The process is pretty straight foward - it is somewhat labor intensive and there are multiple steps. Here are some pics...

Yes - once the stain is finished doing it's thing you neutralize the acid and rinse with water 3X, then two coats of sealer go down and then after that two coats of floor wax.

If you plan on parking cars in the garage in winter, you may want to rethink the wax. I've never had good luck with it in harsh winter conditions, especially when the floor was known to sweat in the past....

Interesting - I didn't have any issues with the concrete sweating prior to the acid stain/wax. What kind of issues did you have?
