Tried to acid etch today. Whatever the dark low spots are, acid won't touch it. Even went pure. Got a 4 1/2 diamond cup and it even had trouble getting it. Wish the big grinder could have got it

yes, mine looked like that after sealer. Low spots look darker then like this. Have to just grind it off. If your grinder isn't getting it much, then you can use a little water with the grinder - that helps the harder areas. There also will be naturally lighter and darker areas sometimes, which is just the way it looks. Do the water soak test on it to see if it soaks in or not within 30 seconds to see if you went deep enough. - paul
