So many enablers on GJ.
My ongoing therapy for tool addiction will have to be postponed.... again.
been wanting and waiting for the M12 Rivet tool/gun to “become affordable.”

I came here to post this sale only to see you guys are ahead of me. I used it this morning to get 2890-20 Milwaukee radio and it saved about $18.

Is $340 pretty good for the chainsaw w/ 12ah battery? That's after the $60 off from Acme. I'm tempted to get a M12 stubby also but chainsaw 1st because I think its $400 everywhere else.
What a shame (or a blessing) that you can only use the discount on one item.... Mine was a Baldor buffer
Have family make another account or 2, haha.

That's what I paid for mine when I pre-ordered from Acme. Great saw, it's worth it to me not to have to deal with gas since I'd converted all my other OPE to M18. The battery alone is $200 and I can use that with any of my tools so it seemed like a win-win to me.

Only better price that I know of was 20% off their select eBay sellers, CPO being one. Oddly enough, they didn't jack the price up to compensate for the coupon.

I wouldn't value the battery at retail. You should be able to get one for under $150.

Does anyone recall what % off Acme did last year for Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

The kit should have 1 part number, so yes. I picked up the Fuel grinder with the free 5.0 battery. The 15 off sealed the deal for me. They also did a price match on a Milw. radius light. It should make a great temp light when the new barn is complete.

I'm waiting for Q4 w chainsaw for free second 12.0.

Lowest 12.0s I saw on eBay was $130, so you'd have to get way more than 15 or 20% off to match that

Definitely. On the table saw, it works out to $83 off which is about the price of a 9.0 on eBay. (I usually figure $90). So still not as good a deal as getting a free 12.0.

When do those deals start?

When I posted the same Acme sale yesterday, 1 min before this was lol, I included a link for another 3% back from Acme tools. Perhaps that pushes so done over th edge instead of waiting

EVen without 3%, I'm not waiting. Well, I am waiting on a guy on facebook to get back to me about a two-12ah battery chainsaw kit for $424.

After 15% off:
$340 - Chainsaw 12ah kit. - Seems like cheapest way to get a 12ah batt if want the chainsaw.
$340 - 7-1/4" Miter Saw 2733-20 w/ Promo 5AH battery
$425 - 7-1/4" Miter Saw 2733-21 w/ 5ah battery & Promo M18 Random Orbit Sander ($325 give or take for saw if sell the sander)
$468 - 8-1/4" Table Saw 2736-21HD w/ 12ah battery
$510 - 10" Miter Saw 2734-21HD w/ 9ah battery & Promo 2730 Fuel Circular Saw ($310-$360 for saw & 9ah if sell the Circ saw.

Thanks for the input. I figure $340 is like paying $200 for saw only, which is at least 50% off bare tool price & I want the 12ah battery for it anyways. 2 battery kits are not a good value right now, besides the supposedly $424 kit on facebook. I'll also see how the 9ah does on it for short cuts.

I'm still surprised the bigger 10" miter saw doesn't come w/ a 12ah battery. Oh well, I'm not getting it for now.

Well the 10” miter saw came out waaaaay before the 12.0s. I have one and love it, kicks *** on a 9.0 and is still a great saw with a 5.0 in it.

From what I’ve heard both the table saw and chain saw perform well with w 9.0.

I see. Good to hear, thanks. These are all pretty good deals compared to other places.
If I was looking for a Miter saw, I'd get the 10" w/ 9ah & sell the "free" saw for as much as I could. I already have a 2731.
I really don't need anything besides the chainsaw. That's a 50/50 want/need anyways :bounce:
If I don't hear from a guy on facebook about a chainsaw w/ 2 batteries for $424 then I'm going w/ Acme.

Yeah, we just love referral links that make you money...

Cant argue with that, but do you save money? Figure everyone wants another 5% off this or that site, that 3% might help out. My tool purchases are actually a minor part of what I get back. Lot more for household goods (unfortunately)

The chainsaw does run well with a 9.0ah battery. I've also used a 5.0ah and even a 1.5ah in it. 5.0 was ok, the 1.5 was just for kicks just to see it run and cut up a few sticks.

Ended up with the M12 Fuel 3/8” ratchet for $126. As I went around the shop at work today 2/3 of the techs have the M12 1/4” ratchet in either the original or Fuel. I purchased the 3/8” drive because of the higher torque and the fact that my 3/8” socket selection is stronger than my 1/4”.

Ended up getting the M12 fuel screwdriver I've always wanted one. The M18 drills I use are a little big for fastening stuff

Hah, only thing I recently ordered was the chainsaw w/ 1battery for $300.
Currently 5ah x 13, 9ah x 3, 3ah x 1, & 1 old compact.
I think after this order I'll have just about all the m12 batteries ill ever need.
I could use another 5.0 and 9.0 m18 however :bounce:
Ebay Ebay.$45-50 for 5ah, $85-95 for 9ah. I'm surprised to see some 12ah batts for$150 or less, beats retail by at least $50,

Holy 5ah!

I'm just a home-hobbyist, one battery for leaf blower and one for mid-torque impact will get me by until I buy another kit.
Maybe a grinder or a vacuum
