Acme Tools and Speed Dee delivery...SLOoooww

I place an order on the 12th in time for Father's day and Acme quickly process and shipped. That's where it stalls. Acme Tools uses Speed Dee Delivery in the Midwest instead of the usual USPS/FedEx/UPS. It is now the 18th and my package is still in the warehouse scanned as arrival 45min outside of Chicago with no sign of progress. Called their number and got place on hold and that's it. Still on hold as of this post 15min and counting.

I don't know if anybody else here has same experience but if I order again from Acme Tools and if they are shipping them again via Speed Dee I'll cancel. Sorry just venting my frustrations.

I normally have real good luck with acme tools, a couple days at the most once I place the order. I did recently place a order for the weedeater/bonus tool deal and due to a backorder issue it took a couple weeks, the price was worth the wait. I live in Missouri and based off my memory, everything almost always comes fed ex. I’ve never heard of speed dee delivery, sure enough google takes me right to there home page, dunno. I’m generally a person to person type of guy, I hate sending random messages in hopes someone will reply back, if I did utilize the live chat feature to get a update on the acme tools site. It was pretty seamless, FWIW.

Lol, I tried to order something from Acme last week, but I couldn't. Website won't accept my address, stating they can't deliver to PO/FPO/APO. Which my address isn't. After filling out the contact form with a detailed description of the problem, they emailed me and asked me to contact them about it. Which is what I thought I did, and said so. That was Friday. Today, they passed my message along to their website admin. Tomorrow, the same item I wanted to get from Acme will be here from Northern Tool, at the same price.

I've ordered before from Acme, at this address, and had no problems, so.....lol
