Hello!
I am thinking of going with an Acrylic Concrete sealant on my garage floor this summer and am looking for any advice or pics of those who have gone this route. I have a 26x32 detached garage with a very pourous brushed surface texture concrete floor that does dust a moderate amount. I am wanting something that is far from perfect as my slab isn’t in the best shape to begin with and I do a fair amount of work on it. As I’m getting it set up more and more how I want it the floor in its basic form is beginning to bother me both in looks and it’s dusting. My goal is to be under $300, DIY, and a weekend project. From what I’ve read I think Acrylic sealer meets this criteria. Again I’m am not looking for anything anywhere near perfect... I just wanted something that is pleasant to look at, makes cleanup a little easier and is cost effective.
Here’s what it looks like currently. I truly don’t mind if the imperfections carry over as far as stains and cracks as again I’m not looking for nor expect perfect in my price range.
This is the acrylic sealant I’m looking at primarily but am open to any other advice.. .... water based or solvent based??
Any advice or post some pics if you’ve gone this route!!
Thanks!
