I have the AcryliSeal 3501 sealant from wolverine coatings that I put on my driveway about 4 years ago, still intact in many areas, but slippery as HELL when wet and winter time. I want to remove this stuff, in fear of the kids or anyone else falling and hurting themselves. Been wanting to do this for a few years, but finally want to do this? Any degreasers or methods that will remove this fairly easy?

Any suggestions, comments and/or products much appreciated!

Thanks,

Hello "Dabiscuitboy"

My name is Bert and am the younger brother of Fred / AlphaGarage. I noted your inquiry and contacted Wolverine Coatings Co. to get some direction... Wish I could tell you that there's a product on-hand at WCC to remove AcryliSeal 3501 but there isn't. Got to say though that any acrylic sealer that lasts for four years on a driveway is pretty impressive!

WCC has worked with contractors who have tried a variety of products and processes and the majority have had to machine grind to remove. One contractor did report success with this product:

Given the age of the coating it may be worth a try?

Not a "Silver Bullet" but hope it helps.
