ACWU90 Install Question

I am bring ACWU90 2 gauge 3 conductor into my garage. What is the best way to get it from the outside to the inside? I was thinking running it into an LB connector on both sides, only issue is I would need to run the cables out of the coated BX to do that. Is this the best way or is there a better way?

Is this a service from a meter base or a branch circuit from a main service panel. I assume it's an under ground run. My gut tells me you got the wrong wire. It should be 4 conductor. Plus what country/state are you in?

This is a feed off the main for a sub panel. 100 amp.

Okay, that is a four conductor. I assume it's copper conductors.

If the cable you are using is Armorlite, technically it doesn't need conduit and can come out of the ground and go right up the wall and through to the inside.

Here it's called a 2/3 they don't specify the ground but there is one. It's the same thing as Armorlite. My question is how to get it in the panel since it needs to basically do a 180 down to the panel.

Why does it need to do a 180? Are you coming up from below the panel then up and over and back down through the top of the panel? Anyway, if you need to make a tight turn, I'd assume you'd need to cut the armor and put a box at the turn point. I take it the armor will not bend to the radius you need?

The 3 conductor comment threw me too. I believe the Armorlite style cable only comes with copper conductors. The nomenclature for the Armorlite is the same as NM where the ground is not included in the conductor count identifier.

Edit: For curiosity I looked up the ACWU90 and it appears to be Al conductors.

Yup I am in Canada, I should update my profile. well I need to come into the wall from the outside to the inside and either feed the panel from below or above. Either way they are tight turns so I was thinking LB connectors would work but I would need to remove the armor and run the cables trough the lb conduit.

just sleeve it
i would put a 90 from your trench to a little stub to the lb into your garage
make sure it is big enough, i would use like 2 inch forsure to make it around the lb

1 1/4" PVC conduit and LB will be fine,if you don't want to work as hard,go with 2".No need to strip the cable,you are just using the PVC for supplemental mechanical protection(and for appearance) on the exterior of the buildings,ACWU can be run as is just about anywhere,inside,outside underground.
