Add remote t-stat for electric shop heater.

I have a King KBP-2406 240v electric heater and I think I want a remote thermostat for it. Anyone know if it is doable and even better, can I control one with an app from anywhere?
Does it have to be 240v or is there a way to do this with low voltage?
What do I need and how do I do it?

You can do it with a low voltage thermostat.

You would have to have the following:

1. Transformer to reduce the 240 to the thermostat voltage.
2. A contactor (high current relay) suitable for the application. There are some made just for this purpose that are not expensive.
3. A thermostat and misc wiring.
