I was wonder if I should add a flat ceiling to my shop or not. My shop is a pole building with a vapor barrier on the ceiling, I could put insulation all the way up into the peak but some one told me if I put a ceiling in the shop would stay warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. I thought I could just put some paddle fans up at the peak to move the air around. If I did drop the ceiling down I would still have 10 to 11 feet of ceiling height. Also what would be the cheapest and best meathod to cover it Drywall, sheet metal? Also what would be the cheapest and best insulation I was thinking blown in? Thanks for your help.

i just insulated my barn friday night. 32x50. bought the fiberglass blow in from menards. very nice to work with, is pretty fun actually. no itching, and no dust. i didnt even where a mask half the time, and the blower sat in the barn, as it was cold outside. ive heard the celulose is pretty dusty. i have around $600 with the blower rental, but you get a $5 per bag mail in rebate, so $100 coming back my way. and this was r-30.
