We run into a problem every year of standing water on the garage floor throughout winter and early spring from bringing vehicles in and working on them. the snow melts off and falls on the floor and has no direction to flow to.
We want to add a drain to the garage floor somehow so the water will flow to it and escape.
the current concrete floor has no pitch in any direction so water will stand still.
any thoughts or ideas?
I was thinking about cutting a 8" channel length wise in the floor and pitch it to an outside wall and drain onto the driveway.
