adding a "leanto" type addition.

i am considering adding an office to the back of my garage. i would be happy just to have a prefab dropped and a connecting door cut thru, but access is limited.

what i would really like is a "leanto" kinda deal. like a half gable shaped shed with the bald side butted to the existing garage. in kit form.

any info out there on something like this? thanks.

The Family Handyman had an article on garage bump out. I don't see why you couldn't do something like that and not cut out the garage wall. Just put in a door and make it the size you want.

thats an idea. i would need it to be larger, but its not a bad idea to frame the floor like a deck. it would help me because of the rain run off issues in the area of my build. thanks for the input.

yea, i hear that. i am talking somewhere between the Handymans 12x6 was it? and your cathedral. which reminds me to look at the lumber sizes.
