I decided to add a portable two post lift to my 24 X 30 garage. I ordered the Dannmar MaxJax. With the help of friends, we will raise the low ceiling 2' in the center 24 X 20 to accommodate it.

I don't like the way the hoses are out in the open. I can see them getting ripped out in short order

Hi I'm a model. Look at me, I'm fantastic. Now look at yourself, now back at me. Now you. Back to me, now you. You have legs, I have legs, they're very different. Yet they both are out in the open. Do yours get ripped out? Mine don't. Mine are ripped. Yours are flabby. Mine - ripped, yours - need work. But you can imagine. Imagine if you smelled like me..... :bounce:

Sorry - I love that commercial. Haven't seen it? Old Spice....

What's your ceiling height? I have been thinking the same thing, I would love a MaxJax. My garage is 24' x 28' with 8' height, it's all exposed but it is all trusses, so I guess I could modify it somehow in the middle to give myself an extra couple of feet.
