Adding a second sump pit

Anyone add a second sump pump pit? We have one, on one side of the house but the other side keeps getting water. Our water table is real high right now. Raining almost ever day and were getting water thru any cracks.

How hard is it to add a pit?

Not hard, but. If you have that much water coming in what happens when you loose power or a pump conks out? Is it not possible to tile to daylight to relieve the water pressure on your foundation

Totally misunderstood what you wanted.

My old pit had 3 pumps. I lived alongside a creek. It pit was the size of a room. I learned the hard way its more than 6' deep.

A temporary installation using a 5-gallon bucket and a pump might be enough until you decide on a permanent solution.

I would think about a better gutter/downspout setup.
It would be an easier, cheaper, above ground project.
