Adding electric start to Techumsa motor

I have a 10 horse Techumsa motor on a Coleman generator. It hhas castings and tapped holes on the block to add an electric starter. Also there is a cutout where it would mount to the flywheel. Does anyone kow where and what parts I would need to add electric start?

What model is the engine?
If the flywheel has the teeth for the starter to engage, you should need only a starter and a solenoid, and a push-button switch to activate the solenoid.

I have a coleman as a backup and I did exactly that, What you need to do is find a flywheel with the starter teeth, starter, and a new cover that has a bump out for the starter, then wire in a switch. I'll take a picture of mine today.

It already has the bump out in the cover for the starter, not sure about the flywheel I will check tonight when I install my new propane conversion. Where do I get those parts?

I already know how to wire the solenoid, battery etc... How many CCA battery will I need?

Techumseh starters come up on eBay all the time. You need to know what model of engine you have, and what starters from other models will interchange with it. Techumseh's web site can be helpful for this research.
Many of their engines share the same starter.
Any lawn tractor battery will give you the power to crank it.

I have never heard of a "Techumsa motor", I'm guessing you mean Tecumseh?

Hmm neat setup on that generator did you build that yourself?.

my snowblower has a HMSK105 Tecumseh, has the 120V starter on it. I don't use it too much lately as the recoil usually gets the machine started in 1 or 2 pulls
