I have a recently built pole building with some MBI between the metal roof and the rafters. I am trying to determine options for either adding more insulation. I haven’t been able to find anything specific to adding under the MBI here or elsewhere. I am not keen on spray foam that requires removal of the MBI, mostly based on seeing a lot of concerns about spray foam and its expense.
Can I add foam, rockwool, or fiberglass bats under these? Is air space needed? What should be done for the bird block holes?
I have no plans to create an attic as I plan to make a loft later in the higher section.
