Adding new circuit to main panel. Connecting neutral and ground to which busbar?

Hello, I'm adding a circuit to my 200amp main panel but the all the circuit openings are full on the right side and all the neutrals are full on the left side.

I don't think it matters, but is there any reason I can't add a new circuit to the left side of the hot busbar but connect the neutral and ground to the opposite side (other than it not looking as neat)?
