After getting used to new lighting at work I decided to stop straining and dragging out lights to be able to see my work better. The garage is 24X28 with an 18X7 main door and 36" man doors on the right and left side. The lights in yellow are existing, rectangular fluorescent round incandescent, and the green are the 6 new T-8 32W fluorescent fixtures I bought last night. The three incandescents are on one switch and each pair of the existing fluorescent fixtures are on their own switch. My plan is to add the six as shown and power them off of the switch for the workbench lights. By mounting them this way the lights are not directly over a car and the light will be hitting more from the side and can enter the interior instead of reflecting off of the top. Good plan or do I need to make some changes?
