I am deciding if I want to add on to my house, the addition would be 16 x 40 and would be half family room and the other half a garage extension. The family room would be about 16 x 18 and the garage 16 x 22.
Can someone tell me what the material cost would be for the outside framing (just approxmite) and what kind of materials cost would I be looking at to drywall and put insulation in? Is there a web site that will give me an idea of materials that would be needed to do this?
I have a price of 7k to do the excavation and cement work and another 14k to frame all of it. Does this sound like a fair price?
I am planning on finishing the inside myself.
Any help would be appreciated
