adhesive for Hardi plank

I am re siding with Hardi plank and need to glue some trim pieces of the fiber cement to
some existing cement columns. What adhesive is best that I can get at Home Depot??
Preferably not the high priced specialty stuff..just the normal stuff..

I don't think JH approves of any gluing methods but I have had some pretty good success with PL400. I think HD and Lowes carry PL400.
