Hey y'all I've got a snap on box that has the stainless trim piece on the top drawer. It's starting to peal on the s. What adhesive can I use to re stick it?

Another satisfied user of the 3M trim tape. They could stick the San Andreas fault back together with that stuff.

...thought it might be too thick...

I think you're right -- trim mounting tape IS likely to be too thick.

3M makes other products that might work, such as spray adhesives of various types and thinner two-sided tapes more art supply-oriented than auto trim-oriented.

There are options at office supply stores, too, like the double-sided tape in a dispenser like correction tape.

That red backed 3M stuf has got to be the stickiest stuff I have ever worked with. Don't miss when aligning a part...

Use Automotive Goop (Plumber's Goop, Sportsman's Goop, etc.). Work some in with an old piece of feeler gauge. Squeegie it with a piece of plastic to level it all. Holds great and plenty of working time.

First make sure it won't attack the plastic lettering though.

3M trim tape is made in different thicknesses, as thin as .015".

Check their website.

And still too thick.

Contact cement or 3M trim adhesive is what I would use first.

3M trim tape as back up. No matter the thickness, trim tape will still will pop that panel out.
even .015.

Flush is flush baybee.
