I was browsing Temu, and came across this interesting adjustable flare wrench. Not something I've seen before and Google doesn't seem to know much about it either, as I got few results after a keyword search. Has anyone ever come across this style of wrench?

The best tool for AN fittings is a Knipex plier wrench if it will fit.

Thanks for the replies. An AN wrench would explain why the one I saw was made out of aluminum.

Just out of curiosity, would anyone know why adjustable flare wrenches never became a thing? I realize they wouldn't be as good as a dedicated fixed wrench set, but, just like a regular adjustable wrench, I could see how they could be useful. Perhaps today, Knipex Cobra/Raptor-type pliers might exceed the performance of something like that, but seems weird it's never became a common-ish tool.

I think technically, there have been some made adjustable glare wrenches made over the years, but, a lot of glare fittings are in confined areas were an adjustable wrench/pliers won’t fit, or were the adjusting mechanism eon’t fit, so they always remained a niche thing.
As has been mentioned, the Knipex raptor is sort of an adjustable flare wrench/plier.

Aluminum wrenches prevent damage and scratches to expensive anodized fittings that are often as cosmetically important for show as they are functionally important for performance.
That being said, much the same can be accomplished with electrical tape on wrench jaws or tools that have soft jaw options.
