Neat

But adjustable wrenches don't really keep a good clearance, and i would think applying a force that's not in line with the rotation of the fastner would aggrevate the problem

I'll bet it works real good around corners ey. It has too many joints for excessive play slop value. I have a few adjustable wrenches I like that have a locking detent for the adjusting thumb wheel that hold there setting tight and will not loosen up once set or while in use....H

There is that twisted handle again! Hope your health ins. is paid up??

Hmmm... don't think U'd ever need a flex head adjustable, especially for the reasons oulined by Bilyk and Volvo. If I ever do have the need, I'll just put a 3/8 flex handle on this:

Can't say that I have ever seen one of these. Looks like it could come in real handy for that late night awkward moment when home depot is closed. How much ??...H

Not sure. Wife got it for me for Xmas... i think it was around $40. If I get real ambitions, I'll go out to the garage and get the part # off the thing and look it up...

That sounds about right. I think they're $50ish. Can't find it in my '06 catalog, but I didn't look terribly hard.

Something along similar lines that I really need to get around to buying, is the FZ936A. Doesn't show in the pic, but there are 3/8" drive holes in the top, end, and bottom of this ratchet head. List is $67. ;)

Think more along the lines of a ratcheting crowsfoot.

If you have a tight space where you can get a ratchet head in there, but don't have any room to swing the handle, you can do fun things like stick a 12" extension in the top or bottom, and plug a breaker bar into the other end.

It's just one of those "I want to buy it because it's clever" things. I think I would have actually used it about five times in the last two years.

I can see using this on the end of a nice long strong Snap-on breaker bar setup to get down to a crank nut or hiddin adjuster while replacing/adjusting a T-belt/aux belt/ front engine repair tear down type situations. We have some front wheel drive engines running twin single aux belts running multiple thingy's that there just ain't NO way to repair, so you have to get real creative sometimes with your unorthodox methods...H
