Looking for something with the adjustability of Ernst rails, And the labelling/removal Hansen style socket trays

My "outs" on Hansen rails drives me nuts, but I'm not a huge fan of the removal/locking on typical adjustable rails, the single post is way quicker than anything that locks

I made a few prototypes with industrial pegboard (1/4" thick mdl, holes are larger as well) and some 5/32 dowel, just hammered the cut dowels tight into the 1/4 pegboard holes. Only problem is 1/2" and 3/4" sockets are really sloppy.

(Pegboard is latex flat horizontally in the bottom of the toolbox drawer, not hung vertical on a wall)

Any makers come to mind?

Finally stumbled on Tool Grid, originally sold through Matco and is now sold as Mantis out of Canada. (I believe)

Looks like there are a couple cheaper systems coming out, ascend tools version caught my eye. Definitely a better price point and you don't have to lock everything down with screws.

Looks great. Do you anticipate any downside at this point?
Moisture in the wood causing the sockets to rust, which I might mitigate by spraying the whole thing in wd40 or T9

After using for a day it's been fine, I originally planned on gluing the dowels with CA glue but even after slamming the drawer nothing has failed so far

I originally wanted to use 3/8 dowel for 1/2" sockets but the 1/4" gives me way more adjustability on the pegboard side as well as the socket side getting them closer together

If I could get hardened/industrial pegboard with holes spaced at 1/2" instead of 1" id be set

But this was free scrap from work
