I had some scrap laying around and needed to get some wield time in with my new welder, so I threw these together today. They are not perfect, I know that and I need to clean up some cold welds, but its not a critical thing, and I was doing this figure out the new welder, so be nice guys. hahahaha

Oh yeah I forgot to add. Both stand collapse down to around 30" and will open up to around 40" or so. Second, I used washers inside the pipe to make the bearings. I just welded 3 or 4 washers together, and fit them into the pipe. They roll fine, and the fact that they really don't get used a lot and may only make a half dozen revolutions within a day, I don't think they will cause a issue.

Yeah, the welds went from cold welds to almost to hot and burning through. I had gotten a new welder and was using this build as figuring out the welder and how it worked. So, yeah it was a learning process, but I like how they have turned out so far.

Cool stands, I have some rollers left over from some treadmills that would be perfect for this!

Nice job. You can add slots on the sides to adjust the roller higher if you ever need to handle anything larger than the width of the roller.

What kind of welder? Flux core, I'm assuming?

The welder is a Tweco 181i, its their 3 in 1 welder. I was using flux core on it. I do a lot of welding outside so I tend to do more stick welding and flux core wire welding. I do have a stand alone stick and another wire welder that is set up just for gas shield welding.
