Just put in heavy duty Knape & Vogt (K & V) adjustable shelving on 2 walls of the workshop after getting tired of tripping over tools and parts while repairing the bikes in the winter.
The brackets are rated for near 500 pounds each so they will never be in danger of overload and being able to rearrange them for different floor usage is great. Brackets come in many different depths; our top shelf is 14", the next 12" and the small low shelf to use for tools for the job at hand is 16". And all are movable.
