Adjustable tool chest organization ideas

I've been cruising through the tool box organization threads for ideas and haven't found quite what I'm looking for.

I'm looking for an adjustable system to create compartments in the individual draws of my tool chest. Think tackle box adjustability like this where you could place dividers where needed to create different sized compartments.

The end result I'm going for would look something like this, except adjustable:

Does this sort of system exist?

Those things are pricey. I'd buy one of those cheap Stanley ones with the clear covers and just remove it. Or leave it on so you can remove entire case and bring to location you're working. I just saw them on sale at Sears two for $13.

a person could build some thing like that out of wood and then pin nail it together.

This was my first thought too and would be fairly easy to make. The adjustability would be nice though. I mean, can we ever have enough tools?

All you have to do is shop through them and figure out if they have something you like.

I've actually made those out of the thick paint stirrers that are free at HD. Mark them all out, make some small cuts on the bandsaw and they slide together or apart at whatever increments I like. If I want it to be permanent I add a little wood glue. Cheap and easy - just how I like 'em...
