I was trying to remove the clutch fan on my 2005 Blazer , I wasn’t able to hold the pulley and turn the fan nut , old and weak lol . Before I retired at work we had a tool that a air hammer would break loose the fan . Years ago I bought a crows foot air tool adapter , https://www.gardentractortalk.com/threads/crows-foot-air-hammer-adapter.15326/. , I drilled two holes in my adjustable and with a few impacts it broke free

Actually I have been pretty dense on the impact driver tool. My BIL started raving one day years ago about all the uses he found for a cheap impact tool he got for a few bucks at harbor freight. I got all technical wanting to get a good one and never got to the point of buying one. I am sure I would have found various uses for it.

Yes those little air hammers can be handy . Years ago at work I watched another mechanic change anchor pin bushings on med. duty truck , my way was a bushing driver and hammer , his was using a air hammer both to remove and install , even on a simple job it made it even easier. Started doing it his way after that .
