Ive been told they are the same tools just relabeled.I wonder who will be making the Diehard tools? Is it going to be Apex who makes the Gearwrench/TEQ?
Probably the same person that decided it was a good idea to take a new totally unknown name and put it on tools that had a previous well known name. What idiot with a marketing MBA decided to use a well-known battery brand name and put it on hand tools?
I bought those same ones yesterday for a lot less. It dropped enough to make me go for it even though I have several others. It was under $25 for both.I caught this sale a week or so ago and picked up both of these for $43.**. The 3/8 is a flex head.

I had been eyeing the 1/2 one for a couple of years but didn't want to spent that much. There was a couple other people buying at the same time as I was looking. I thought the really good deals were on the kits and sets.My local store sold out within the first couple days. I didn’t need either really but they both feel solid.

I just looked online and didn’t see any marked on sale. Is this in store only? If online, where are all of you seeing them? I did pick up a set of teq deep 3/8 metric sockets before Christmas for like $14.99 if I remember correctly.
In store only and check the tool aisle, the Gearwrench/Teq Correct wall and the clearance rack. Don't assume the prices on the tools are correct. They mostly aren't from what I've seen.I just looked online and didn’t see any marked on sale. Is this in store only? If online, where are all of you seeing them? that's because with all the rapid price changes being promulgated by corporate, we haven't had time to keep up with changing out price tags. hll, I just bought some super glue tonight that was shelf priced at $6.50 but register said 9.99 . Our store is actually closing early for the last 3 days because we don't have enough employees to cover all shifts and Asst GM has covid. and yet we still have about the same amount of business as before. In store only and check the tool aisle, the Gearwrench/Teq Correct wall and the clearance rack. Advance recently had Bruce Willis pushing them selling Die Hard batteries but, I don't think it was done that wellWondering whether they will ask Bruce Willis to promote Diehard tools. Curious why in the past Sears never did so. I thought it is a natural match. In fact, auto parts stores can use Rock and Vin Diesel as well.

Same here. I went the day after I saw this thread and all the sale stuff was gone. I appreciate the heads up from the OP, though. I'll have to be quicker next time.My local store sold out within the first couple days. I didn’t need either really but they both feel solid.

They have Die Hard power tools now, which are the same as many generic low-to-mid grade Chinese brands, but with a different color scheme.
they did but apparently they're getting ready to do another reset, so I dunnoIsn't Advance the one who is changing all their house brand fluids (oil, etc.) to the Fram brand? Someone there seems to be on this kick- use a well known but essentially unrelated automotive brand to get perceived legitimacy for your in-house generic products.
that same ratchet is $13 at my location. did you get the 8" extension for $7?I got about $200 worth of tools yesterday between two locations. One had way more on sale than the other. I’m happy about it because it would of been way more at regular price. Like I got a 3/4 ratchet for $16 and I think the breaker bar was like $14 which is not bad at all. And got a bunch of other stuff too. I’ll definitely be hitting them all up eventually. One guy at the location that hardly had anything on sale said they would clearance more when the brand starts to go away completely which he said will be June but I’m not sure if that’s right or not I’m just going by what he said.
Yes I sure did. I could not believe how low the prices were.that same ratchet is $13 at my location. did you get the 8" extension for $7?
