I will be buying a BENDPAC HD-9ST. The only reason for this choice is a good local dealer. They will take care of shipping and installation for me. I do not have any reason to think this might be a bad idea, so far. I am not brand loyal.

Advantage customer service is great. I bought min about 5 years ago now and I developed a leak under the reservoir every time I used it. I didn't lean during the lift, only after pressure as off. Called Advantage and they discussed it with me, I pulled the reservoir and checked the torque on the pump bolts. Every thing was fine so I put it back together and it started leaking, even worse now. Called back and he thought it must be a small o-ring on the hose from the pump to the cylinder. They even sent me the o-ring at no charge. Changed it out and worked perfectly, no drips after a week. These guys are great.

Was it the O-ring that is inside the hose swivel or the one that goes against pump block behind a washer?
