Has anyone with an Advantage 9000 installed their runway out to the 79"wide setting? Is it as simple as a couple bolts and sliding the runway out or is it the kind of thing that is tricky to move and adjust?
Thank you

I had a Bendpak that I was able to slide the runway over and bolt up. Might have to pull and extend the cables by hand.

yes, I did this with mine. I think there are two bolts on each end. After you do this, you have to also move the roller pins on the sliding jack stand.
And the drip trays will no longer fit. I made a light duty frame out of aluminum angle to get around this.

Great, thank you for the replies. I'm going to be pulling the trigger on one and wanted to see how it worked. If it's just a couple bolts and modifications to the drip trays that's just fine with me. According to the website, Looks like the rolling jack will be close but will still fit on the wide setting.

I have not moved mine out (haven't needed too even with my K2500 Suburban), but it looks to be pretty straight forward. Still the best value in hobby lifts in my opinion. Awesome customer service and a top notch product!

I set my Advantage DX-9000XLT ramps in the wide setting a few weeks back when I got it. Fits my RAM 1500 perfectly.

you'll move the NON power ramp out to the wider holes. Don't touch the power ramp or else you'll block the handle to control the locks.

Also: as mentioned above, adjust your jacks accordingly to fit the new width. And the drip trays will not fit without modification. I used 1x4 PT wood ( had it laying around) and just nailed each drip tray to 2 - 41" long strips of 1x4 and set it right in.

MY 9000XLT is on the wide "setting" and as others mentioned, the drip trays no longer fit. I used small diameter (1/2" I believe) PVC pipe zip tied to the long edges of the trays to support it. They slide incredibly easy. I also considered moving the ramps to the closer position, but have decided to leave them. At the end of the day you have more working room between the ramps. Also, I highly recommend a rolling bridge jack, I got the air over hydraulic, because I'm old...

Thank you all for the information.

I went ahead and placed my order on Friday for the lift... Plus an air over hydraulic rolling jack.

How much is the rolling jack going for these days? I have one but a few times have wished I had a second.
