My compressor seems to have developed an oil leak. Any guesses how hard it will be to fix? What will I need?

I bought it uses for $50 around 9 years ago, and mostly use it for airing up motorcycle tires or occasionally running a small nail gun for woodworking. Looks like I could replace it fairly easily for under $100, so I'm not willing to put more than a couple of hours into it.

Thoughts?

It doesn't take much labor to equal $100.

I'd probably spend the $100 to buy a replacement even if you're going to fix this one. That way you don't get in any hurry working on this one. And you have air to blow out and clean while working.

Any idea where it's leaking? I don't know if you can get parts. As long as nothing is cracked, you can probably disassemble/reassemble with new gaskets and get it fixed. You can cut your own gaskets, or use some gasket maker goop (use very little).
