Advice for floor for a irish garage

Hi

Im looking for advice on my workshop floor im going to epoxy coat,its a 800sq feet slab iv alot pits in areas and im going to repair some around the lift area with rustolem epoxy patch and repair, im finding it difficult to find decent products or advice in ireland iv imported the rustolem. I was wondering would simply coating the pits help protect the floor from further damage? Or woukd i have to get more product and repair the entire floor?

Where are you located? Have you tried some of the industrial supply places around? I know at my work in Leixlip, we've had a number of occasions where we needed chem resistant flooring and they were able to buy the materials locally I believe....could be wrong on that. A quick google search shows a number of companies offering to install the flooring so I'm guessing they have a source for the materials.

We have a distributor in Ireland for our www.supratile.com, that may a better choice for a badly damaged garage. More expensive than coating, but can't possibly fail and installs in hours not days...email us with your contact info if you want our distributor to get in touch with you.

do you get Weber concrete products? I repaired part of my workplace , about 400sqft ,

concrete repair was around 200euros
self leveling top was ~400 euros.

mine was pretty bad and uneven , I first grind , then repaired big holes and cracks , then poured the self leveling goo.

then grind again because my pouring skills were poor

It's no showroom now but light years from what it was.

the paint I found discounted in a grocery store in Germany, 80 euros and I still have 2 full cans

I'm based in Wicklow most local places don't do epoxy and one crowd trying to supply me had the product peeling up off their workshop floor, if a friend who seals and coats floors but he's sealing the floor first then painting and if never seen this work properly .

My concerns are the depth most products have a minimum coating depth so I'd have to grind more out of the floor and others are not guaranteed for painting and epoxy.Watco have products that may do the job waiting on a reply.

Having had a chance to grab pics yet although I'm washing the floor tomorrow so il grab some then.
