Advice on Acid Stain garage floor

Hi!
I found your website doing research on my upcoming garage overhaul. I am debating what type of flooring treatment to do in a heated attached three stall garage, that has not had anything done to it, but is 11 years old. I LOVE the look of acid stained floors and would like that look in our garage. We intend to host gatherings in our garage often so I like that the acid stain looks more like a home interior floor instead of an industrial one. We will park my SUV in it year around and my husband is a contractor so he does have a truck that goes in and out daily. We also live in the cold midwest so there will be salt chemical on it when we drive in from the winter roads. PLEASE HELP!

Is there an application product out there that could provide enough sealant to maintain the look of the acid stain?

Any updates from people who have lived with their acid stained garage for awhile?

Thanks for any and all help!

Clean and sweep, then wash. I used a sprayer to apply mine in the barn. I used 4 different colors as it’s a working shop. Random pattern. One color didn’t react well but can be seen in some locations. I would do it again, wasn’t hard and I liked the results. I used Ghostshield 8505 over the stain as a sealer.
