Advice on One-shot oiler on Bridgeport Mill

Hi,
Wanting to install a 1-shot oiler on a Model "J" Dovetail Ram BP with zerk fittings. Been reading and watching video's but there is some conflicting information. One forum discusses drilling holes/passages. However, a video only shows the zerk fittings being replaced with what appears to be metered fittings which serve to insure appropriate amounts of oil are distributed where needed.

Has only done this retrofit and does anyone know of a diagram and detailed instructions for doing it?

There's good reason for having the Bijur oiler on larger mills, Cinci, K&T, etc., but its really so quick and easy to do an oil round on the little Bridgeport that retrofitting a 'one-shot' system is a 'non-cost-effective' extravagance, more work/trouble than the 'finished product' is worth. (One really must mark/tag the 'zerks' for 'waylube only, never use grease' if one has unskilled workers for whom a zerk means only one thing.)

Yes, the Bridgeport works did fit the Bijur system to the later J and 2J mills, and, yes, its a minor convenience, if one's mill was set up with it, but one always worries whether any of the little lines may have become blocked.
