I see a lot of people ask after their floor is down....

So If I'm planning my build, and Want to put down a Flaked Epoxy upon completion. What should I be telling my concrete contractor?

Building plan is 30'x50'
Mainly a hangout place with woodworking some minor vehicle repair

Located Coastal NC

I See we have a sticky with nothing in it.... Maybe get a best practices for "X" results going...

Thanks in advance!

I would let the concrete contractor do their thing. When you're ready, sand your concrete with diamabrush to give a consistent profile.

I suggest going with no flake at all, but put down the antiskid. Uniform single color gives a shop a high-end look that does not go out of style even 10-20yrs from now. It sets you apart from the contractor grade epoxy that's becoming common on homes.

Have you chosen a color yet?

If a color has to be chosen.... I will probably  to the wife.... I have no style or sense of it.... I'm not sure why she even likes me! :headscrat
