Putting pencil to paper right now on a 40x60 that will be divided in half.
One side being the detail/hangout are, the other the Fab area.
Main questions : DIMENSIONS how much room should I set aside for an enclosed utility area containing electric/gas in floor pec heat? (just heating 1 40x30 area. Is a 5x11 room enough to get all hardware installed and any future repairs?
I was thinking about Sticking the 80 gal upright compressor in this same space if possible as well. Thoughts?
Last question for now. Planning a flush mount scissor lift on the finished side of the shop. I was thinking,
FROM THE WALL: my 2 ft deep tool box, plan for maybe 6 foot between box and car bumpers as an efficient distance? I'm not worried about swapping engines I can just back into the space if needed.
Thought many may have set up lifts and wished they set them back further
