Hello. I just got this SO box in hopes of restoring it. Problem is that I am missing a drawer as well as the guides for it and the 3 small drawers.
After an exhaustive internet search I am at my wits end.
Could anyone out there please offer help or advice ?
Box serial number is KR-566667. Pictures attached.
THANK YOU !

No just have fun! Maybe look for a parts box or check ebay. Snap on quit using those drawer pulls around 57.

Finding a drawer will be hard. I'd fabricate a replacement that might be different but fits the piece correctly.

Also, make it fit your particular needs!

That's a late 50s box. Given the emblem, handle and drawer pull styles, I'd say 1957ish. I bet there is a date stamp on the back if you look closely.

Finding drawer slides for one is going to be difficult. I do know that some of the newer ones work on the older ones because I've been in the same situation as you are now.

You could just blank it off...
Or just dummy a shelf into the spaces until you find something. I suspect your only path forward will be a donor box, with the bottom half trashed.

You might be able to take slides from another brand of toolbox, and adapt them, but that is just a guess.

Does it have sentimental value? If not, find another one to restore and save that on the 1 in a million shot you find a donor box with a trashed bottom.

Or part it out on ebay for someone else like yourself.
