Hi, I am looking for advice on the best resurfacing product to use for my garage floor in my house which is about 700 square feet. The floor sees light use as I use it to store my two cars. I attached some pictures of the floor. The floor itself is sound, however it is spalling, dusting and pitting in most of the area (the house is 60 years old), and there is old paint on approximately 50% of the floor. Initially I planned on removing the paint, pressure washing, etching with muriatic acid and patching and repairing the spots that needed it. I was then going to use Quickrete resurfacer which I already bought, but I am now having second thoughts and would like to get a second opinion here. I was also thinking about buying Epoxy Shield Professional kits. Since it is residential and does not see heavy industrial traffic, I would like to keep this job less than $500.
The worst area is the one with the oil bottle in, used for a scale factor. I will use polymer modified repair product to fill these in.
I am also a bit concerned about moisture in the floor, how much is acceptable?
